Full Job Description:
Registered Nurse: South Omaha Medical Associates is searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) experienced with IV therapy and the ability to insert and monitor IV infusions. The RN is responsible for starting IV infusions, assessing and recording patient vitals in an efficient and timely manner. An ideal applicant will establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and other SOMA personnel while assuring confidentiality of patient information.
You are open to learning new skills and appreciate perspectives differing from your own. You have genuine compassion for your patients’ well-being and understand you play a role in helping patients feel at ease in the physician’s office. You also have the patience to explain the provider’s instructions to patients when they have questions or confusion about their care.
The position is full-time 7-8 hours a day, five days a week, no weekends, no holidays or on-call. The position will be based at 4828 S 24th Street

Expectations/Responsibilities: Provide care for patients through their entire clinic experience, administer medications accurately, safely and consistently according to the patient’s plan of care, complete thorough documentation on patients as required, and practice sterile or clean techniques for patients.
